Description

This sculpture captures a bit of the awe that seeing a beautiful sunset inspires in Almuth Tebbenhoff - reduced to the form of a large toy tower. At the centre the artist put a ragged and unstable human experience in pink and orange which is sandwiched between the steady blue earth and the red sun cubes. The earth and sun may be the only constants we have and even here we are at the mercy of incomprehensible forces.

The galleries at Dora House will be closed for the remainder of 2025 while we carry out building works to deliver the project 'Creating a Home for Sculptors'.

The Summer Show 2025 that has been curated by Polly Bielecka, Gallery Director, Pangolin London Sculpture Gallery, is being hosted at Burgh House in Hampstead from Thursday 17 July to Sunday 21 September. Burgh House is open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays & Bank Holidays (closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays) from 10am to 4pm and entry is free. Click here to plan your visit.
