The Royal Society of Sculptors at Thirsk Hall

An exhibition of works by members of the Royal Society of Sculptors took place at Thirsk Hall in North Yorkshire following an open call where members submitted sculptures that could be exhibited outside in the garden and parkland at Thirsk Hall as well as maquettes and works on paper that were curated as part of a smaller exhibition in The Orangery.

The artists selected to participate in this exhibition were: Farnoush Amini MRSS, Tere Chad MRSS, Tim Ellis MRSS, Elpida Hadzi-Vasileva FRSS, Katie Hallam MRSS, Rosie Leventon FRSS, and Rory Menage MRSS. The outdoor sculptures will remain at Thirsk Hall Sculpture Garden until spring 2024.

As part of this exhibition a day of artist talks took place on Saturday 10 June featuring Emily Young FRSS, who had a solo show in Gallery One at Thirsk Hall , Tere Chad MRSS, Elpida Hadzi-Vasileva FRSS, Rosie Leventon FRSS, and Rory Menage MRSS.
