The Great Exhibition Road Festival 2019

The Great Exhibition Road Festival is a new three-day celebration of the arts and science in the spirit of the Great Exhibition of 1851.

Moiré patterns can be found in nature and manmade materials, as well as the world of art. They are a created when two patterns are overlaid to create a third. Along with scientists from Imperial College, we invite you to play with giant acetate grids to create your own beautiful Moirés: build them into 3D structures to take home or add to our giant hanging sculpture!
