Description

Join us for our first educators' social of the new term. Dan Curtis, the Society's Learning & Participation Officer, will offer an informal curated tour of the current exhibition followed by networking and a practical art session over a glass of wine!

In response to our new exhibition, a conversation between Japanese artists Jiro Takamatsu and Keiji Uematsu exploring balance and tension, Dan will be leading a session on sculpting with paper, reflecting on Japanese sculptural themes. Participants will explore fresh and unexpected ways of engaging with paper as a sculptural tool. You will take away all the skills and knowledge that you need to teach this art activity to your pupils or within another education setting.

Please RSVP to Dan at learning@sculptors.org.uk
