Description

Join Darcey Fleming whose Waiting Room is now on display on the sculpture terrace at Dora House for an artist in conversation event on Thursday 20 November at 6.30pm via Zoom.

Darcey will be in conversation with Isabel de Vasconcellos independent curator and writer and the presenter of our ongoing series Behind the Studio Doors.

The galleries at Dora House are currently closed for building works to deliver our project, Creating a Home for Sculptors but during this period, the sculpture terrace will continue to feature contemporary sculpture and we are pleased to have Waiting Room on view now until January 2026.

Darcey Fleming is an artist working in London and West Berkshire. She works across sculpture, photography, video, drawing and writing. She is currently an artist in residence on the Lee Alexander Mcqueen Sarabande Foundation.

Isabel de Vasconcellos is an independent curator and cultural producer, with extensive experience collaborating with artists and visual arts organisations to realise world-class public commissions and exhibitions. She writes on contemporary art, photography and design, and is the author of Fourth Plinth: How London Created the Smallest Sculpture Park in the World.
