Sara is a tapestry weaver living and working in Deptford, South-East London. She creates tapestries and site-specific artworks, working primarily within the field of weaving. Her work explores the intersection between craft and collaborative making to address my longstanding preoccupation with knowledge sharing and material cultures. Each of her projects has a refined relationship between materials, narrative and space, which has a personal, durable and beautiful place within their surroundings. Sara works with with a range of materials and has a lot of experience on both private and public commissions. She is passionate about her work and is always happy to introduce new ideas and collaborations.
