Description

Join us in South Kensington and online from 9-15 October for a week of free events to explore how art and science can help inspire a greener future for the planet we share.

This year we are pleased  to share a creative learning resource: Nature Assemblages.

Using materials found in nature provides the opportunity to engage with the natural world, create work outdoors, and to produce art that naturally decomposes over time. This project shows you how to create delicate insect assemblages using materials collected from nature, and takes inspiration from the work of artist Raku Inoue. By emphasising the connection between insects and plants, the project can also be an exciting springboard for the topic of pollination and research into the role of insects within our ecosystem.
