Biography

Salha is a multi-disciplinary artist based in London, working between painting, film, sculpture and installation. Through her exploration of movement and change, Salha utilises contradictory materials, disarmed from their original qualities and functions to create her unique visual language deeply influenced by her personal experiences and background.

 

Salha received an MFA in 2003 from the Institute of Fine Arts/ Lebanese University, and did further studies at Central Saint Martin (2007), Slade School of Art (2019), TurpsBanana (2020-2021) and MASS Sculpture program (2021-2023). Recent group exhibitions include Object,History, Time, Cross Lane projects Vestry St Gallery (LDN)/ Special Relationships, Torrance Art Museum (LA) /Duets, Durden & Ray Gallery (LA)/ Ubik, Hypha Gallery (LDN). Salha’s work is held in public and private collections in the UK, The United States, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, UAE, and Lebanon.
