Susan Forsyth's work combines strength and delicacy where industrial sheet material based on the golden and silver ratio are gilded, polished and balanced in the gallery or landscape.

Her first permanent sculpture will be installed at the University of Liverpool in the summer of 2016. 'Susan Forsyth: Art Sheds' in Liverpool's Victoria Gallery was shortlisted for the inaugural People's Art Prize 2015. In 2013 she was commissioned to create work for the Museums At Night Connect 10 project and shortlisted for the inaugural West London Art Prize. Her 8 metre high gilded form 'Jacob's Ladder' was installed on the facade of the RBS throughout 2012, alongside 'Wiff-Waff', a fully participatory sculpture in the Salon Gallery.

Immediately following her MA Susan was nominated for the prestigious Jerwood Sculpture Prize. Since then she has exhibited widely across the UK, and in Europe, Asia and the USA. She has worked on large-scale public art projects in Liverpool, London, Lisbon, and Warsaw.
