Biography
For 20 years I have been working from the figure: carving, drawing, modelling, often from life with a model in my studio. My practice is mainly in stone and marble. I enjoy that each piece I carve in stone is an original, unique sculpture, direct from the sculptors hand and not once or twice removed. This makes it possible to give my sculptures great subtleties and character.
I have worked for clients including English Heritage, The National Trust, Liverpool City Council, Westminster Abbey and many private clients.
In 2015 my piece in Winchester, A Promise Honoured, was shortlisted for the PSMA Marsh award for excellence in public sculpture
