He is an MA Sculpture graduate of the Royal College of Art, and an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Sculptors (MRSS).

In 2001 he received a Gilbert Bayes Award for early career sculptors and went on to win the RBS First@108 Sculpture Award 2009, with ‘Avatar’ an aluminium and pewter sculpture now on permanent outdoor display at Westferry Circus, Canary Wharf, London.

He currently teaches short sculpture courses at Morley college, and the London Sculpture Workshop, including copper sculpture, mould making, wax modelling and pewter casting.

He recently co-authored a book with Elsa Tierney and Sarah Davis on wax modelling, called 'The Art of Wax' published by artmatter.org.uk
