Biography
Poppy Whatmore completed her MA in Fine Art at Slade School and awarded an Arts Council Award (2010-2012). She won the Aesthetica Art Prize, 2013 and New Contempoar ries, 2011-12. She is a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors, has exhibited in UK and Europe: Saatchi Gallery (2024), Wells Contemporary (2020), Middlesbrough Art Weekender (2019), Stone Space Gallery (2018), Creekside Open (2017), Guest Projects (2016), Sluice Art Fair (2015), Academy Now, (2013) Italy and ICA, London (2012). Selected art residencies include BowArts, 2024, Hogchester Arts, 2023, PADA studios, Portugal; Passengers 2020, with site responsive exhibition, at Brunswick Centre, London and Radical Residency III, Unit 1 Gallery Workshop.
