Biography
Born in West London, Peter obtained a 2.1 Bachelor of Technology degree and Ph.D from Brunel University and studied art at NE Surrey College of Liberal Arts.
He began his practice in 1993 specialising in glass sculpture and occasionally working in bronze, stainless steel or marble.
He adapts modern glass engineering techniques creating sculptures which explore light and form and are suitable for corporate, domestic and garden environments
Exhibitions venues include RBS Gallery, RBA Mall Galleries, RHS Wisley garden, Broadway NY and Chelsea NY, USA, Guernsey, CI.,Pall Mall galleria, Goldsmiths Hall London, Cynthia Corbett Gallery, M1 Gallery, Gallery Different etc.
Clients include London Hilton, British Gas for HRH Princess Ann, Royal Caribbean Line, Peter Gabriel, Greg Dyke, Guardian Newspapers and private collectors in three continents.
Prizes include Royal Soc. British Artist’s Surdivall Memorial Award.
