Biography

Oles Sydoruk is a sculptor based in Ukraine, educated at the National Academy of Fine Art and Architecture in Kiev (1999-2002).  He works from sketches and original clay and plaster forms to realise monumental sculptures in stone or bronze.  His work decorates many areas in Kiev and other cities in Ukraine.  Works include the granite ‘Apostle Andrew Pervozvanny’, sited in Kiev in 2000 and the artificial granite ‘Kiev Prince Svyatoslav’, also sited in Kiev in 2008.

He has sculptures in The State Museum of Kiev-Pecherska Lavra and 12 works in the private collections in Roteborg, Germany. He has attended over 15 international and national art exhibitions and is an active member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine.
