Biography
Nathan Murphy is a London-based artist working with painted wood and steel to create relief-based sculptures that sit between painting and sculpture. His work explores geometry, architecture, and spatial perception through bold, layered forms.
Drawing on geometric minimalism and an architectonic approach, Murphy’s constructions respond to surrounding forms and spaces, inviting shifts in perception as viewers move around them. His practice reflects an ongoing interest in the interplay between surface, structure, and spatial experience.
