Nathan Murphy MRSS

Murphy’s work focuses on investigating the viewers experiences and perceptions with space. Works created employ constructed visual forms and environments that heighten or aim to enhance a visual and physical interaction.
The physical and optical nature of the work is acted upon with the choice of geometric minimal forms and fabricated materials; these are reflected upon with a need to engage and relate to the viewer through its human scale.

Recent works have become increasingly more site-specific dealing directly with the architectural and formal elements of the spaces occupied, exploring the creation of sculptural works in more unconventional spaces and contexts.
