Mike makes ‘Virtuoso carvings in marble’ according to Alan Windsor’s ‘British Sculptors of the Twentieth Century’ (Ashgate publisher).

He had numerous commissions in the 90s including a carving in Carrara marble for a courtyard at Homerton Hospital in London and carvings in black marble for the Sultan of Brunei.  His carvings were exhibited in many galleries in London appearing in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition on about 12 occasions. His latest commission was two large scale bronzes for the New Caribbean Cruise ship ‘Oasis of the Seas’  His work is represented in numerous private collections in Europe and the USA. At present he is developing methods of casting in bronze.
