Biography

Kevin is largely self-taught, over a 20 year period, with some training in working with marble in Pietrasanta, Italy. His sculptures are mainly organic, influenced by natural forms such as seeds and microscopic organisms. He works in a wide variety of stone types including European limestone and sandstone, Italian marble and alabaster, and Iranian onyx. Works range in size from 10cm across to 3m tall.

Recent solo shows include Lichfield Cathedral, Bristol Cathedral, The Bleddfa Centre and MOMA Machynlleth.

Kevin also works to commission producing pieces for both private and public spaces, including relief-carved standing stones in Forest of Dean sandstone.
