Biography

Kate Robinson is an award-winning artist and writer. Established as a public sculptor she has completed public art commissions across the country and internationally, working from a broad sculptural palette and enjoys collaborating as part of a team of architects, planners, fabricators and installers.
Social engagement and curating is often a part of the process, for example working with schools throughout Glasgow for the award-winning Brother Walfrid Veil and with people within the autistic spectrum for The Symphony of the Trees. She also directs theatre and moving-image including commissions for BBC; LUX; Yermilov Centre, Ukraine; Estonian Museum of Contemporary Art; Glasgow Gallery of Modern Art; Royal Scottish Academy and the National Theatre of Scotland.
