Juliet and Jamie Gutch MRSS

Mobiles are interactive, constantly changing, and evolve out of a process of finding balance. They explore a sculptural language which is musical and elusive. We started working together on a commission for John Lewis in 2012 and since then we have developed our practice of making three dimensional shapes from drawings based around themes and subjects. We are constantly exploring new ways of articulating our ideas in mobile form, in terms of shapes, materials and scale and are keen to develop more work for the outdoors. We also run mobile making workshops alongside commissions or as one-off events.
