Biography
Barlow Hudson is an international artist/sculptor, having grown up living round the world with his hydro-geologist father & writer mother. He has continued this tradition with his sculpture, creating large-scale projects in 26 countries: 24 throughout China alone. There are two sculpture projects on the Irish isle. In 1988 he was the only sculptor commissioned for two major projects for World Expo 1988 in Brisbane, Australia: MORNING STAR II, now in the Botanical Gardens & PARADIGM, at 30 meters high. In 2008 he created a large scale sculpture for the Beijing Olympics, now in ChaoYang Park. His study of TaiJiChuan continues & its influence may be seen in such sculptures as CLOUD HANDS I at Vilniaus, Lithuania & number 2 in Xian, China. His aesthetic is multi-cultural & his sculptures are timeless.
