Biography
Jane Higginbottom recently completed an MA in Fine Art at Camberwell and also a PG Certificate in Art and Design at UAL.
During this time her work changed from more traditional stone carving, themed around organic forms, into work about environment, time and place using a range of materials but with an interest in low impact materials and processes.
Her work with community groups also interlinks with this practice such as the project Place to Remember 2015/16.
"Looking at evolution and ecology, I am thinking about change in environment and making art using low impact materials. I am also interested in place and time, making work in relation to site, see ‘Tudor Rose' - Deptford X Festival 2015."
