Biography
I am a multidisciplinary sculptor based in London. Working across diverse materials, and drawing from ritual, symbolism and scientific data, my work sits somewhere between the empirical and the lyrical. Through investigating material subtleties, I'm interested in the possibility of creating tactile connections with the vast, distant or intangible.
Studying Psychology and Anthropology gave a cross disciplinary foundation to my research, continuing to inform postgraduate studies in Chinese Art History and, more recently, Ceramics at the RCA. Specialising in a complex material with a distinctive language and history helped to inform a technical discipline and curiosity with which to approach any new work. Having exhibited widely across the UK and Europe, I am represented by Montoro 12 Gallery in Brussels and Rome.
