Biography

Since graduating in Fine Art in1995 Graeme has designed and created large scale artworks for the public realm. Graeme was trained in stone sculpture and continued to develop his skills culminating in a number of high profile commissions including creating an award winning memorial sculpture for former England football manager Sir Bobby Robson in Newcastle City Centre. Many of his works, particularly the monumental pieces, incorporate letter cutting which Graeme designs and carves himself. Graeme has diversified into other materials more recently including a 22m long earthwork in Lutterworth, Leicestershire and his highly acclaimed memorial for the Naval Service at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire which was made from 13 giant sails of coloured glass.
