Biography
Etienne Millner is a figurative sculptor working in clay for bronze, based in London and Devon. Best known as a portraitist working on a wide range of projects from monumental public statues to life-size heads and figure groups. His subjects have ranged from the royal family, writers, musicians and public and private portraits. Etienne's sculptures are expressive of their subject's inner dynamic, known for his ability to capture likeness, which has established him as a leading portrait sculptor, recognised with strong demand for his work at home and abroad.Though he prefers to work where possible from life he has experience taking inspiration from all sources. Much of his work is posthumous requiring sources such as paintings, drawings film and text.
Etienne has exhibited at the RA Summer exhibition, The Society of Portrait Sculptors, Cadogan Contemporary and Gerbil Fine Art
He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Sculptors, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Past President of The Society of Portrait Sculptors.
