Biography

Danying is an artist-researcher whose multidisciplinary practice spans sculpture, installation, drawing, and photography. Grounded in both studio-based practice and socially engaged approaches, her recent projects investigate everyday practices of “make-do” that emerge when space is shaped by necessity, adaptation, and constrained conditions.

These inquiries inform an evolving body of work through which she is developing a situated and translocal sculptural language. Through collaborations with local communities and the use of found and modest materials, she explores spatial agency, improvised architectures, and the aesthetics of lived experience. She holds an MA in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art.
