HOST YOUR EVENT AT DORA HOUSE

Dora House is a striking, Grade II-listed building in the heart of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Minutes from South Kensington and Gloucester Road tube stations, it is an easily accessible venue in a beautiful area.

An individual & historic venue

Dora House is one of the most historic buildings in the area and arguably one of the most distinctive due to its unique Dutch-style architecture and character features. It has always been a magnet for the creative and over its lifetime it has been a home - and studio space -for sculptors, architects, photographers, painters and designers.

It is now the headquarters of the Royal Society of Sculptors and its light-filled rooms retain their original features from tall leaded windows to fireplaces.

Elegant, versatile spaces

Three charming spaces are available to hire at Dora House: the Lobby, Salon and Studio. All on the ground floor, they can be hired individually or together.

We host a wide range of events including fashion & film shoots, drinks receptions, book/product launches, small conferences, creative workshops plus corporate meetings, presentations and training sessions. Our client portfolio includes Walker Books, Elysian Residencies, The Society of Authors, Archives for London, Touring Exhibitions Group, Higher School of Economics (Russia).

Practicalities

As a guide, capacity ranges from a champagne reception for 200 to a small conference of 70 to 100 and a board meeting for 14.

Hire fees start at £150 for a half-day, the fees directly support our work as a registered charity. Discounted rates are offered to members of Royal Society of Sculptors.

There is a small kitchen as well as toilet facilities. Audio-visual equipment is also offered to clients.
