Spaceshifting at ROSL, the Royal Over-Seas League

Spaceshifting was the second exhibition celebrating international members of the Royal Society of Sculptors at the Royal Over-Seas League in London St. James’s. The exhibition took place between July and September of 2025.

Spaceshifting is an ambitious and inventive play on traditional exhibition-making, that seeks to subvert the difficulties of international programming and strengthen cultural relationships across borders. The theme asks applicants to consider how works can move and metamorphose through space, across borders. Playing with dimensions, space, and material, the proposal seeks to challenge how an artwork can shift through space and time, physically changing from its inception to its display.
