Almuth Tebbehoff VPRSS' Redhead Orange Stack was on the Sculpture Terrace at Dora House from July to September 2025. This sculpture captures a bit of the awe that seeing a beautiful sunset inspires in Almuth Tebbenhoff - reduced to the form of a large toy tower. At the centre the artist put a ragged and unstable human experience in pink and orange which is sandwiched between the steady blue earth and the red sun cubes. The earth and sun may be the only constants we have and even here we are at the mercy of incomprehensible forces.
Almuth was in conversation with independent curator and writer Isabel de Vasconcellos and you can now watch the recording here:
The galleries at Dora House were closed for the second half of 2025 while we carry out building works to deliver the project 'Creating a Home for Sculptors'.
