Pierce and Puncture, 2024

Andrew Sabin is an experimental sculptor who lives and works in West Sussex.  His activities include object making, installation, public realm work and teaching.  He is co-director of the Mattblackbarn education programme.

Andrew has said:

I like the dough rising.  I like the sense of inner space increasing.  I like risen space collapsing upon itself leaving the marks of its pomp.  A ball pressed and folded, pierced and punctured, and then fixed in time by having its soft malleable self replaced by heavy, cold, bronze.
