Description

We hope you can join us at Dora House and mark International Sculpture Day 2025!

The announcement of the First Plinth: Public Art Award 2025 winner will be made on Saturday 26 April, following a talk at 6.30pm by Ivan Clarke, a director at millimetre: 'Sculpture, Public Realm and Soft Sustainability'

Sculpture, Public Realm and Soft Sustainability

Ivan will be talking about the company’s practice, past projects and its aspirations for future contribution to the socio/environmental realm. Framed in the context of what Ivan describes as ‘soft’ sustainability,  the talk will consider the significant role of sculpture and craft in the creation of public realm – essentially as an expression of cultural values and a quiet agent of change.
