Description

On our sculpture terrace stands Spindler by Ellie Hayward; a mystifying, mechanical structure that towers over passers by.

As an artist, Ellie is interested in the relationship between the 2-Dimensional and the 3-Dimensional, experimenting with both sculpture and print, and finding new ways to bring the two together in her work.

This International Sculpture Day, we invite you to join us at Dora House to embark on a journey through the 2D, the 3D and beyond. Help us build a Sculpture Bus based on red London buses with which we can travel across dimensions, working from Ellie's large-scale blueprints and learning new techniques for joining, fastening and building with carboard.

Participants can interpret the blueprints however they like, and use the carboard, markers and other materials on hand to design and build their own section of our ship.

Drop-in between 12pm - 4pm to get involved. All ages welcome.
