Artist Richard Rochester has been working with charcoal for many years, pushing the boundaries of this historical medium in drawing practices.

Join him for an inspiring and informative workshop in the beautiful setting of Dora House. The Yodomo workshop will give you all the tools and skills to confidently create art with charcoal. Take advantage of Richard’s expertise and learn about the materials' vast history; try out various kinds of charcoal and charcoal techniques; and get inventive with its endless creative possibilities.

Participants will have the opportunity to make their own charcoal artwork to take home, using the tools provided and the techniques shown.
