Our Sculptors Exhibitions
We are thrilled to have a new installation: ‘Strange Fruits Of System Decay’ included in the first site specific outdoor sculpture exhibition curated by Cromer Artspace. The exhibition will be held in the delightful grounds of The Grove, a beautiful Georgian Country House Hotel set in 3 acres of garden, a short distance from the heart of Cromer, Norfolk and is made possible by the support of Norfolk Contemporary Art Society.
Running parallel to the outside exhibition at The Grove, the fifteen exhibiting artists will also be presenting drawings, maquettes and smaller works that are not suitable for outdoor exhibition at Artspace On The Prom, a stunning gallery set in a unique art deco building on the West Promenade in Cromer.
‘Strange Fruits Of System Decay’ is a continuation of our series The Consumer Game but in this iteration cast in plaster and designed to weather and decompose, we will also be showing a selection of 2D and 3D inter-related works from 2013-2025. The Consumer Game explores issues surrounding the nature of aggressive consumerism, a global economy built on consumption and the effect this causes both to the individual and society.
Exhibition runs from June 27th to July 18th 2025. See the Cromer Artspace website for full details.
The launch event of Sculpture@The Grove will be on Sunday 29th June 2025.
