Our Sculptors Exhibitions
Fruiting Bodies is a sculptural exhibition by the London-based collective Changeable Beast, exploring the intersection of nature, transformation, and organic forms within the setting of The Old Parcels Office in Scarborough. Curated by Rob Moore and Sandy Layton MRSS, Fruiting Bodies showcases the work of Changeable Beast, a London-based artist collective known for its dynamic and experimental approach to sculpture, embracing materiality and process as central concerns. The group fosters an evolving exchange between artists, materials, and the environment, continually pushing the boundaries of sculptural form. For Fruiting Bodies, 18 members of Changeable Beast will exhibit alongside six guest artists (including David Kefford MRSS, Paul Bonomini MRSS, Catriona Robertson MRSS and Elspeth Penford MRSS), each invited for their alignment with the collective’s ethos and the conceptual depth of their work. Together, their sculptures create a thought-provoking exploration of cycles, memory, and transformation.
