Form A is a permanent commission for the plaza of the Institute of Ageing & Chronic Disease at the University of Liverpool. The site-specific work references the ground-breaking scientific research taking place in the William Duncan building. The form suggests a chromosome at the moment of replication and the two ten-metre planes do not touch. Fabricated in 20mm nuclear grade solid stainless steel, the sides of the sculpture are mirror-polished to show the beauty and delicacy of the industrial material.
