Description

We are delighted to welcome Crafts on Peel back to Dora House with their exhibition Embracing Craft, Connecting Culture, part of London Craft Week 2025 and supported by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (London).

This exhibition showcases crafts and traditions across regional boundaries and generations, representing the essence of Hong Kong as a melting pot of vibrant cultures. Crafts on Peel brings together international and Hong Kong artisans to collaborate and co-create works in various mediums and forms, fostering creative dialogue and cultural connections between regions and within our craft community.


Crafts on Peel are proud to present this exhibition featuring a selection of works intricately crafted in different mediums and forms. The exhibition celebrates the convergence of global cultures through crasftmanship, a phenomenon that transcends borders, fosters understanding and ignites a symphony of creativity.

Crafts on Peel and HKETO Lingnan Penjing Demonstration & Panel Discussion

Watch Master Wong Chau Shing guide you through the essential steps in narrating a story through Lingnan penjing, a landscape art from Southern China. This is followed by a panel discussion with contemporary Lingnan penjing artisans Master Wong Chau Shing and Kammy Wong on the reinterpretation of craft traditions through a modern lens.
