Biography
Tamsie Ringler studied Art at the University of Wisconsin and received her MFA in Sculpture from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a recipient of the 2017 McKnight Fellowship for Visual Artists and serves on the Advisory Board of the International Conference on Contemporary Cast Iron Art. Recent projects include Ainavas Galds (Landscape Table) at the Pedvale Open-Air Art Museum in Latvia, the River Lee Project a durational iron pour of the River Lee watershed held at the National Sculpture Factory in Cork, Ireland, (2018) and Fenced, performed at the Festival of High Temperatures in Wroclaw, Poland, (2019). Her most recent solo installation, Still Life, was exhibited at the Minneapolis Institute of Art in 2019.
