Biography

Polam creates primitive- unpolished works that explore language and communication through art. As we focus more on individuality and independence, his work aims to create an alternative world of structures to amplify or conflict with the present.

Clay’s works explore the limitations, uncertainty, and fragility of the material simultaneously in the world. Through time, from wet to dry, heavy to light, strong to weak. This metaphoric comparison project Polam’s emotions and feelings through fragile works.

Polam studied Sculpture at Brighton University for his Bachelor's and Royal College Of Art for his Master's. Polam is the recipient of the European Artists’ Prize. 2021, Royal College of Art/Gilbert Bayes Award, 2021. Polam Curated Hong Kong Nationhood Exhibition at Lewisham Arthouse, 2022. Exhibited at Phoenix Art Gallery in Brighton, Barbarian Arts Group Trust, Craft Central London, and Saatchi Gallery for London Grads Now 2021.
