Nicolas Moreton MRSS

Nicolas has been a professional sculptor for over 30 years. Specializing in stone carving he prefers working UK stones before looking abroad. Working in a traditional manner his work now displays a contemporary twist with the inclusion of electrical light. His work stems from a figurative bias and it centered around fertility and the wonderment of life. He has shown extensively around the UK which has lead to his work being collected Nationally and Internationally. He has a vast experience working in the Private and Public sectors undertaking major National Tours of his work and having public works in places like London, Milton Keynes and Yorkshire. Awards include The Brian Mercer Fellowship and most recently The Peoples Choice Award at the National Sculpture Exhibition. He enjoys undertaking carving workshops to inspire new people into the world of carving.
