I am interested in anatomical studies exploring them through quilted flesh and limbs, harnessing the tactile, haptic qualities of fabric with its inherent softness. Growing up in a scientific family, the body and its workings were considered matter of fact; this way of seeing has shaped how I approach the human form. My work is a physical rendering of what is usually invisible and internal, making it external and tangible. These forms often drift into fiction and imagination, as I remain fascinated by giving shape to what lies beneath the surface.
