Robert Ward FRSS

Rob Ward makes monumental work in stainless steel, bronze and occasionaly stone. His work is often influenced by architecture and has included water as a feature. The work is highly reflective seeking to include the viewer in multiple views and images. The work deals with simple propositions, or places, House, Theatre, Cathedral etc . He has commissioned work in the UK, China, Taiwan, Germany, Italy and the U.S.A..He has exhibited widely , including a retrospective at the Henry Moore Institute , British Sculpture at the Guggenheim Venice, British carving 1900 to present at the Fine Art Society and Scultura Intenationale in Turin Italy.His published work includes a book Reflections 40 years of work published by Making Space Shanghai sculpture park and Yale University Press.His life story recording is housed in the British Library ..In 2016 he established ROBHOUSE a house dedicated to his work in Potries Valencia Spain
