Working and teaching throughout the UK, Jacky’s work brings together narratives from a range of sources, contemporary and historic. Each project is completely unique, drawing from a range of metalwork techniques and processes. Since graduating from the Metalwork and Jewellery department of the RCA, she created works for commissions, exhibitions and residencies.
Jacky says:
"Allotment plot II was developed from a body of work looking at the province of the food we eat. This piece drew from both the plans of allotment and the details of the architecture on these plots, the precarious sheds and and greenhouses that give each area a true individuality and character."
