Our Sculptors Exhibitions
Amanda Chambers RWA, MRSS is appearing in the group exhibition ‘Ash, Ember, Flame’ at the Japanese Embassy.
Amanda was invited to produce new works for a joint initiative between Oxford University Kilns, TORCH and the Embassy of Japan.
Her works entitled ‘Tane’ (Japanese for Seed) were created for inclusion in the project wood firing (using a Japanese Anagama kiln) which included a wide variety of works from artists, potters, students and academics from the U.K. Europe and Japan.
The entire collection of pieces from the firing will go on show for a temporary exhibition at the Japanese Embassy in London from 10 December 2021 until late February 2022.
Pre-booking is required. Please see link.
