Inger Sannes MRSS

Inger Sannes was also president of The Swedish Sculptor Association for several years. Within recent years she received several international commissions, such as;2008 ELEMENTS Christopher Newport University, Newport News, Virginia, USA (12 ton white Carrara marble sculpture);  2008-2016 OSLO INNOVATION AWARD; 2015 TIDVATTEN, white Carrara marble, to a sculpture garden for children in Söderköping, Sweden, Alison Pickett Corporation Art, Hong Kong NEW ELEMENTS; 2016 SOURCE is ice at the winter festival in Uppsala, Sweden (Slide show from the creation); 2017 The EGG, in white Carrara marble, Majorca, Spain, SORAIA in Red Travertin from Iran to Delaware, USA and 5 sculptures to CASPAIOU Design & Interior, Dubai, United Arab Emirates; 2018 ELEMENTS in marble to SAS Insitute AB, Sweden, NIKE in marble to a fashion client (Armani supplier) in Rome, 2019 IL PASSAGGIO to "The Healing Path" at Frustuna Church, Sweden and 2020 ELEMENTS to the Ceremony Room at Solfjellshøgda helseshus at the City of Oslo.

2010-2011 Inger initiated and coordinated the 7 Artists at Cava Querciola Symposium in Carrara, with the following exhibitions in Colonnata, Carrara and at the Swedish Institute at Villa Borghese in Rome. Film from the symposium, 7 artists in Cava Querciola, Carrara. The project was funded by the Swedish State Art Fund.

September 2020 Inger received the Oslo City Artist Award.
