Description

Join artist and designer Lucy Grainge for Budding Brains workshops at the Royal Society of Sculptors.

Experiment with printing techniques and mixed media to create a sculpture that reflects your own unique way of thinking and seeing the world.

The drop-in sessions will explore and celebrate neurodiversity, and the things that make our brains extraordinary, through creative and hands-on activities.

Lucy has undertaken extensive interviews and examined research into dyslexia and neurodiversity, and uses her artwork and outreach to break down the stigma and misunderstanding surrounding it. Her work focuses on storytelling, sharing experiences and being positive about dyslexia. This workshop is an adaption of her 'Creative Dyslexia' workshops, first launched in 2019.

The Budding Brains workshops are open to young people from 6-16 years (as well as parents/ guardians and families) who live or study in the following boroughs: Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea & Westminster.

Adult supervision required.
