Our Sculptors Exhibitions
Sound Scape" is an art in nature sculpture installation by Lorna Green with music by Julia Harding. The performance lasts about 45 minutes and will be played by musicians from King Edward Music Society (KEMS) Contemporary who move around playing the music for each sculpture following the grid in the illustration shown . Each performance is unique depending on the musicians' choice of the order of the sculptures to be played.
"Sound Scape" premiered at Charles Roe House in Macclesfield part of Cheshire Open Studios Exhibition in autumn 2016, featured in 'Thursdays Lates' at Manchester Art Gallery, and was nominated for an Award in Buxton Festival Fringe in 2017. The performance at The Lowry will take place in the galleries.
