Christopher Rose-Innes MRSS
Christopher Rose-Innes was until the age of 63, Professor of physics in Manchester, though he had always engaged in art as a `serious` pastime. Deciding in 1989 he would like to practice art `properly` before going senile, he took slightly early retirement and completed a Fine Art degree, specialising in sculpture, at Manchester Polytechnic, graduating with 2.1 honours. He works chiefly in wood, stone, and clay and likes to experiment rather than develop a distinctive style. His work therefore ranges from abstract to portraiture, from table-top to public sculpture .
